আমার প্রিয় শখ ।
Answer : In the world of infinite pain and suffering, it is better to spend your leisure time on some pleasurable activities. Hobby is an extra time anyone does anything. Hobbies are important, of course, because they give us joy and direction.
অসীম বেদনা ও যন্ত্রণার জগতে কিছু কিছু আনন্দদায়ক কর্মকাণ্ডে নিজের অবসর ব্যয় করা ভাল। শখ একটি অতিরিক্ত সময় যে কেউ কিছু করে। শখগুলি অবশ্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কারণ তারা আমাদের আনন্দ এবং দিকনির্দেশনা দেয়।
The modern age is beset with innumerable problems. In such an age as this, we do not have unalloyed joy and satisfaction. If we make ourselves mere slaves of a routine; we will find life very much boring, monotonous, dull and cheerless. But we can avoid the dread monotony of life and get a lot of fun out of it if we spend our leisure in some pleasant activities.
আধুনিক যুগ অগণিত সমস্যা দ্বারা বেষ্টিত। এর মতো যুগে আমাদের আনন্দ ও তৃপ্তি নেই। আমরা যদি নিজেকে একটি রুটিনের নিছক দাস বানাই; আমরা জীবনকে অনেক বেশি বিরক্তিকর, একঘেয়ে, নিস্তেজ এবং প্রফুল্ল খুঁজে পাব। তবে আমরা জীবনের ভয়ঙ্কর একঘেয়েতাকে এড়াতে পারি এবং যদি আমরা কিছু মনোরম কর্মকাণ্ডে আমাদের অবসর ব্যয় করি তবে এর থেকে অনেক মজা পেতে পারি।
Angling is my hobby. It cannot satisfy everyone; But when I drown a big fish after sitting for hours with fishing rods, hooks and bait, I find a world of joy. Bangladesh is a river-ine country and there are different types of fish. We have a huge pond just behind our house and it catches a variety of fish. I’m such a shy kind of guy so I don’t always mix with others. So, whenever I get a vacation, I make the necessary arrangements for fishing.
অ্যাংলিং আমার শখ। এটি সবাইকে সন্তুষ্ট করতে পারে না; তবে আমি যখন ফিশিং রড, হুক এবং টোপ সহ ঘন্টার পর ঘন্টা বসে থাকার পরে একটি বড় মাছকে ডুবিয়ে দেই তখন আমি এক আনন্দের পৃথিবী পাই। বাংলাদেশ একটি নদীমাতৃক দেশ এবং মাছগুলি বিভিন্ন ধরণের রয়েছে। আমাদের বাড়ির ঠিক পেছনেই আমাদের একটি বিশাল পুকুর রয়েছে এবং এটি বিভিন্ন ধরণের মাছ ধরে। আমি যেমন লাজুক ধরণের ছেলে তাই আমি সবসময় অন্যের সাথে মিশে যাই না। তাই, যখনই আমি ছুটি পাই, আমি মাছ ধরার প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা করি।
Angling disciplines the mind. If an angler fails to show much patience and remains unwilling, fate will surely not laugh at him. But if he is always aware, his joy will know no bounds, no doubt. Angling helps me in many ways. Patience, concentration, discipline, attention are the qualities that I develop from this hobby. Again, Angling has kept me away from the Association of Dissenters. I never say bad things about others. On the other hand, I fully enjoy and use my leisure time in fishing.
অ্যাঙ্গেলিং মনকে শৃঙ্খলাবদ্ধ করে। যদি একজন অ্যাঙ্গেলার অনেক ধৈর্য প্রদর্শন করতে ব্যর্থ হয় এবং অনিচ্ছাকৃত থেকে যায় তবে অবশ্যই ভাগ্য তার দিকে হাসবে না। তবে তিনি যদি সদা সচেতন থাকেন, তবে তার আনন্দ কোনও সীমা জানতে পারবে না, নিঃসন্দেহে। অ্যাংলিং আমাকে বিভিন্নভাবে সহায়তা করে। ধৈর্য, ঘনত্ব, শৃঙ্খলা, মনোযোগ এই গুণগুলি যা আমি এই শখ থেকে বিকাশ করি। আবার, অ্যাঙ্গেলিং আমাকে দ্বিমত পোষণকারী ব্যক্তিদের সংঘ থেকে দূরে রেখেছে। আমি কখনও অন্যের সম্পর্কে খারাপ কথা বলি না। অন্যদিকে, আমি মাছ ধরার ক্ষেত্রে আমার অবসরটি পুরোপুরি উপভোগ করি এবং ব্যবহার করি।
