There was a shepherd. He had a flock of sheep near the forest. It wasn't too far from his village. One day he wanted to have fun with the villagers. So he started yelling, "Wolf! Wolf! Help! Help!" The villagers heard -----

Help!" The villagers find it interesting to hear his cries. His screams went in vain. The wolf kills the shepherd before rescuing the villagers. Therefore, the shepherd lost his life.

বঙ্গানুবাদ : একজন রাখাল ছিল। বনের কাছে তার একটা ভেড়ার পাল ছিল। এটি তাঁর গ্রাম থেকে খুব বেশি দূরে ছিল না। একদিন সে গ্রামবাসীর সাথে মজা করতে চেয়েছিল। তাই তিনি চিৎকার শুরু করলেন, "নেকড়ে! নেকড়ে! সাহায্য করুন! সাহায্য করুন!" গ্রামবাসীরা তাঁর চিৎকার শুনে এবং বেশিরভাগ গ্রামবাসী তাকে নেকড়ের আক্রমণ থেকে বাঁচাতে এসেছিল। নেকড়ে মারার জন্য গ্রামবাসীদের কাছে কিছু অস্ত্র ছিল। কিন্তু কোনও নেকড়ে ছিল না। রাখাল কৌতুক করে গ্রামবাসীদের গুলিয়ে ফেলল। গ্রামবাসীরা শোক করে বাড়ি চলে গেল। কিন্তু একদিন সত্যিকারের নেকড়ে এসে রাখালকে আক্রমণ করল। রাখাল তার কণ্ঠে চেঁচিয়ে উঠল, "নেকড়ে! নেকড়ে! সাহায্য করুন! সাহায্য করুন!" গ্রামবাসীরা তাঁর আর্তনাদ শুনে তা আকর্ষণীয় মনে করে। তার আর্তনাদ বৃথা গেল। নেকড়ে, রাখালকে গ্রামবাসী বাঁচানোর আগে হত্যা করে। অতএব, রাখাল তার প্রাণ হারাল।
