Once upon a time there was a boy named Bayazid. He was very devoted to his mother. Once his mother was ill. Bayazid was studying next to his sick mother's bed. Suddenly his mother woke up and asked him to give her a glass of water. -----

Answer : Once upon a time there was a boy named Bayazid. He was very devoted to his mother. Once his mother was ill. Bayazid was studying next to his sick mother's bed. Suddenly his mother woke up and asked him to give her a glass of water. Bayazid went to the kitchen to fetch water. But alas! He did not find a single drop of water anywhere in the house. The night was dark. The whole area was fast asleep. Bayazid wondered where to bring water. Suddenly I remembered a fountain at the other end of the locality. He took the jar and went there alone to fetch water. Bayazid was asleep again when he came to his mother with a glass of water. But the boy thought that his mother would probably wake up and want to drink. So, he stayed by his mother's side all night. In the morning, the mother woke up and saw the boy standing by her bed with a glass of water. He remembered last night and tears came to his eyes. He blessed his son from the heart.

বঙ্গানুবাদ : একসময় বায়েজিদ নামে একটি ছেলে থাকত। তিনি তাঁর মায়ের প্রতি অত্যন্ত নিবেদিত ছিলেন। একবার তার মা অসুস্থ ছিলেন। বায়েজিদ তার অসুস্থ মায়ের বিছানার পাশে পড়াশোনা করছিলেন। হঠাৎ তার মা ঘুম থেকে জেগে মাথা উঠিয়ে ছেলেকে বললেন এক গ্লাস পানি দিতে। বায়েজিদ পানি আনতে রান্নাঘরে গেল। কিন্তু হায়! তিনি বাড়ির কোথাও এক ফোঁটাও পানি পাননি। রাত ছিল অন্ধকার। পুরো এলাকা গভীর ঘুমে ছিল। বায়েজিদ ভেবেছিল কোথায় পানি আনতে হবে তার। হঠাৎ লোকালয়ের অন্য প্রান্তে একটি ঝর্নার কথা মনে পড়ল। তিনি জারটি নিয়ে সেখানে একা একাই পানি আনতে গেলেন। বায়েজিদ যখন এক গ্লাস পানির সাথে তার মায়ের কাছে এসেছিল তখন সে আবার ঘুমিয়ে ছিল। তবে ছেলেটি ভেবেছিল যে তার মা সম্ভবত জেগে উঠবেন এবং পান করতে চাইবেন। তো, সারা রাত সে তার মায়ের পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে রইল। সকালে, মা ঘুম থেকে উঠে দেখলেন যে ছেলেটি তার বিছানার পাশে পানির গ্লাস নিয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। তিনি গত রাতের কথা স্মরণ করেছিলেন এবং তার চোখ থেকে অশ্রু এসেছিল। তিনি হৃদয় থেকে তার পুত্র আশীর্বাদ।
