Answer : The graph shows the yearly amounts of imports and exports of a country in billion dollars. Here 5 years' imports and exports have been shown through two types of columns- the black colored columns represent the import and the white colored ones represent the exports. In the year 2010, the export has been figured at 12.45 and the import at 15.00 billion dollars. In the following year, the export is shown to have risen a bit and it stood at 13.07 billion dollars. Almost similar picture is shown in case of import, as it also rose a bit and stood at 18.40 billion dollars. A steady rise is shown in the year 2012 when, export stood 17.02 and' import at 22.25 billion dollars. A different picture is seen in the year 2013 when exports and imports dropped down to 14.34 and 20.05 billion dollars respectively. However, the rate again increased in the following year, 2014 when exports and imports rose to 23.45 and 32.15 billion dollars respectively. So, the business, as shown in the graph, is on the increase. But it, at the same time, presents rather a pessimistic picture of our economy. Because, while the amount of both imports and exports is increasing, our export cannot surpass the import.
