The Game You Like Most.
Answer : Games and sports are the source of joy and merriment to all. More or less all of us, young and old are fond of sports. There are many kinds of games and sports in our country. Some of them are indoor games and some are outdoor games. Cricket is an interesting outdoor game. I like it most.

Cricket is an international game. It is also a very famous game. It gives delight to both the players and spectators. I like it most because it is full of thrill and excitement. It is of three kinds -Test cricket, One-day cricket and twenty-20 cricket. I like One-day cricket most.

For cricket it requires a big smooth and grassy playground. It is played between two teams-each consists of eleven players. Two wooden bats, a ball, two sets of stumps and some pads are required to play the game. A pitch of 22 yards is specially made in the middle. The boundary line, is confined with a long rope. Two or three umpires conduct or supervise the game. They also maintain the rules and regulations of the game. After toss, one team decides to bat first and sends the other team to bowl and field. The bowler bowls and the batsman hit the ball and runs between the wickets. If the ball touches the boundary line, four runs are scored and if it flies over the boundary line, six runs are scored. The batsman may be out in many ways. One day match is played in stipulated fifty overs. All batsmen may be out or not in between the fifty overs. Two innings are played generally in cricket. Thus the team that collects more runs is declared winner.

Cricket helps the player to keep in good health. It also teaches them to be disciplined and co-operative. It builds brotherhood among the players. The game has some risks of being injured. It sometimes creates misunderstanding among the players.

The cricket is the game of the brave. Cricket teaches obedience, patience, perseverance and co-operation. But fairness is the very essence of the game. Its popularity is increasing day by day. Bangladesh is not lagging behind in this respect.
ক্রিকেট সাহসীদের খেলা। ক্রিকেট বাধ্যতা, ধৈর্য, অধ্যবসায় এবং সহযোগিতা শেখায়। কিন্তু ন্যায্যতা খেলার খুব সারাংশ. দিন দিন এর জনপ্রিয়তা বাড়ছে। এক্ষেত্রে বাংলাদেশও পিছিয়ে নেই।
