👉Suppose, you are Kamal Abmed in class X of Rajbari Govt. High School. Recently a strong cyclone has danaged your village/localty seriously. Most of the houses and other properties have been destroyed. The people are suffering from the lack of shelter., food and drinking water. You, as a student, should serve the affected people for the sake of humanity. Now, write an application to the Headmaster seeking permission to open a relief camp in the school compound for the victims.
ধরুন, আপনি রাজবাড়ী সরকারি উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের দশম শ্রেণিতে পড়ুয়া কামাল আবেদ। সম্প্রতি একটি শক্তিশালী ঘূর্ণিঝড় আপনার গ্রাম/স্থানীয় এলাকাকে মারাত্মকভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করেছে। অধিকাংশ বাড়িঘর ও অন্যান্য সম্পত্তি ধ্বংস হয়ে গেছে। বাসস্থান, খাবার ও পানীয় জলের অভাবে মানুষ ভুগছে। আপনি, একজন ছাত্র হিসাবে, মানবতার স্বার্থে ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ মানুষের সেবা করা উচিত। এখন, ক্ষতিগ্রস্থদের জন্য স্কুল কম্পাউন্ডে একটি ত্রাণ শিবির খোলার অনুমতি চেয়ে প্রধান শিক্ষকের কাছে একটি আবেদনপত্র লিখুন।

Subject : Application for opening a relef camp on the school compound.
Sir,
I have the honour to state that our locality has been damaged seriously by a severe cyclone. Hundreds of houses, household properties, livestocks and crops in the fields have totally been destroyed. In the twinkling of an eye all the dwelling houses including Kancha houses and tin-sheds, standing crops levelled to the ground, cattle, and poultry have been killed. Many people are wounded. The victims have taken shelter under the open sky. There is no supply of food, drinking water and necessary goods. They have no food to eat, no clothes to put on, and no medicine to take. Though the cyclone lasted for a few minutes it caused colossal destruction. They are passing their days in utter inhuman condition. For the sake of humanity we, the students of your school, planning to open a relief camp on our school compound.
So, I pray and hope that you would be kind enough to permit us for opening a relief camp on our school compound and help the victims.

আমি সম্মানের সাথে জানাতে পেরেছি যে একটি প্রবল ঘূর্ণিঝড়ে আমাদের এলাকা মারাত্মকভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে। শত শত বাড়িঘর, গৃহস্থালির সম্পত্তি, গবাদিপশু ও ক্ষেতের ফসল সম্পূর্ণ বিনষ্ট হয়েছে। চোখের পলকে কাঞ্চা ঘর, টিনের চালাসহ সব বসতবাড়ি, মাটিতে সমতল দাঁড়িয়ে থাকা ফসল, গবাদি পশু, হাঁস-মুরগি মারা গেছে। বহু মানুষ আহত হয়। ক্ষতিগ্রস্তরা খোলা আকাশের নিচে আশ্রয় নিয়েছে। খাবার, পানীয় জল ও প্রয়োজনীয় জিনিসপত্র নেই। তাদের খাওয়ার মতো খাবার নেই, পরার মতো কাপড় নেই, ওষুধ খাওয়ার মতো নেই। ঘূর্ণিঝড়টি কয়েক মিনিট স্থায়ী হলেও তা ব্যাপক ধ্বংসযজ্ঞ ঘটায়। চরম অমানবিক অবস্থায় দিন কাটছে তাদের। মানবতার স্বার্থে আমরা, আপনার স্কুলের ছাত্ররা, আমাদের স্কুলের প্রাঙ্গণে একটি ত্রাণ শিবির খোলার পরিকল্পনা করছি।
তাই, আমি প্রার্থনা করি এবং আশা করি যে আপনি আমাদের স্কুলের কম্পাউন্ডে একটি ত্রাণ শিবির খোলার অনুমতি দেওয়ার জন্য এবং ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের সাহায্য করার জন্য যথেষ্ট সদয় হবেন।
