For supply of electricity.
We, the inhabitants of the village Nilpur under Bamna thana in the district of Borguna numbering about four thousand are suffering very much for want of electricity. As there is no supply of electricity in our locality, we have to face a great trouble. Most of the people in this village are farmers. They live by cultivation. They cannot irrigate their cultivable lands using water pumps as electricity is not available here. So, they are unable to produce good crops. Many small industries may grow up if the electricity supply is introduced. The suffering of the inhabitants for want of electricity during the hot period knows no bounds. Students cannot pay attention to their lessons due to excessive heat and shortage of light. We informed the authorities many times. But they took no care to remove our problem.
You should, therefore, draw the attentign of the authorities concerned to take necessary steps so that the inhabitants in our village may get supply of electricity as early as possible.

আমরা বরগুনা জেলার বামনা থানাধীন নীলপুর গ্রামের প্রায় চার হাজার মানুষ বিদ্যুতের অভাবে চরম দুর্ভোগে আছি। আমাদের এলাকায় বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ না থাকায় চরম বিপাকে পড়তে হচ্ছে। এই গ্রামের অধিকাংশ মানুষই কৃষক। তারা চাষাবাদ করে জীবিকা নির্বাহ করে। এখানে বিদ্যুৎ না থাকায় তারা পানির পাম্প ব্যবহার করে তাদের চাষের জমিতে সেচ দিতে পারে না। তাই তারা ভালো ফলন করতে পারছে না। বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ চালু হলে অনেক ছোট শিল্প বড় হতে পারে। গরমে বিদ্যুতের অভাবে বাসিন্দাদের দুর্ভোগের সীমা নেই। অতিরিক্ত গরম ও আলোর স্বল্পতার কারণে শিক্ষার্থীরা পাঠে মনোযোগ দিতে পারছে না। আমরা অনেকবার কর্তৃপক্ষকে জানিয়েছি। কিন্তু তারা আমাদের সমস্যা দূর করার কোনো যত্ন নেয়নি।
তাই আমাদের গ্রামের বাসিন্দারা যাতে যত তাড়াতাড়ি সম্ভব বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ করতে পারে সেজন্য প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ নেওয়ার জন্য আপনার সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করা উচিত।
