A complete graph or chart usually has 3 parts.

| How to write describing graph-chart ? |
1. Introduction : This section gives an indication of what the diagram is about. The title of the diagram and the source of the data are the two main considerations in this section.
2. Message of the diagram : This part contains detailed description of the data. Simplicity of language, clarity of data and brevity of angle are some of the major considerations in this section.
3. Conclusion : In this part, in the light of Message of the diagram, the description is drawn in accordance with the introduction.
To get the required number in the test, you have to give equal importance to each part of the Graph or Chart and follow the following instructions :
- Refrain from giving irrelevant descriptions.
- Special attention should be paid to the main features and data in the description.
- Assumptions based on ideas or conjectures cannot be combined.
- The data should be presented as carefully as possible.
- The data should be presented in the form of comparative analysis as much as possible.
- Finally, the conclusion should be drawn with comments on the overall topic.
Graphs বা Charts আমাদের কোনাে উপাত্ত (data) দুত এবং সহজে বুঝতে সাহায্য করে। আমরা সাধারণত কোনাে তুলনা (comparision) বা গতিধারা (trend) বুঝানাের জন্য Graphs বা Charts ব্যবহার করি।
একটি পূর্ণাঙ্গ Graph বা Chart- এর সাধারণত ৩টি অংশ থাকে।
1. Introduction : এ অংশে diagram টি কী সম্পর্কিত সে বিষয়ে ইঙ্গিত দেওয়া হয়। Diagram এর title এবং উপাত্তের উৎস (source) এ অংশের দুটি প্রধান বিবেচ্য বিষয়।
2. Message of the diagram : এ অংশে উপাত্তের বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা থাকে। ভাষার সহজবােধ্যতা, উপাত্তের স্পষ্টতা এবং কর্ণনার সংক্ষিপ্ততা এ অংশের কিছু প্রধান বিবেচ্য বিষয়।
3. Conclusion : এ অংশে Message of the.diagram এর আলোকে Introduction এর সাথে সঙ্গতি রেখে বর্ননার সমাপ্তি টানা হয়।
পরীক্ষায় কাঞ্জিকিত নম্বর পেতে হলে Graph বা Chart- এর প্রতিটি অংশের ওপর সমান গুরত্ব দিতে হবে এবং নিম্নবর্ণিত নির্দেশাবলী মেনে চলতে হবে :
- অপ্রাসক্গিক বর্ণনা দেয়া থেকে বিরত থাকতে হবে।
- বর্ণনায় মূল বৈশিষ্ট্য ও উপাত্তের দিকে বিশেষ দৃষ্টি দিতে হবে।
- ধারণা বা অনুমান নির্ভর তথ্য সংযােজন করা যাবে না।
- উপাত্ত যথাসম্ভব পরিষারভাবে তুলে ধরতে হবে।
- উপাত্তকে যথাসম্ভব তুলনামূলক বিশ্লেষণ আকারে তুলে ধরতে হবে।
- সবশেষে, সামগ্রিক বিষয়ের উপর মন্তব্য দিয়ে সমাপ্তি টানতে হবে।
