Dear Sir,
We, the inhabitants of the village Nilpur, in the upazilla Bamna would like to request you to be so good as to open a sub post office in our village.
About five thousand people live in this large and prosperous village, what is more, there is no sub-post office within the radius of five miles of this village of ours. It has a college and two high schools. While some of our people live and work abroad, nany others are in Dhaka and other towns. Every week a large number of letters are sent and received by us. Money orders are also sent from outside. There is a bazar in the village where suitable place would not be dificult to find for a sub-post office.
We very much hope that you would grant our prayer and set up a sub-post office in this village.

আমরা, বামনা উপজেলার নীলপুর গ্রামের বাসিন্দারা আপনাদের কাছে অনুরোধ করব আমাদের গ্রামে একটি সাব-পোস্ট অফিস খোলার জন্য।
এই বৃহৎ ও সমৃদ্ধ গ্রামে প্রায় পাঁচ হাজার মানুষের বসবাস, তার চেয়েও বড় কথা, আমাদের এই গ্রামের পাঁচ মাইল ব্যাসার্ধের মধ্যে কোনো সাব-পোস্ট অফিস নেই। এটিতে একটি কলেজ এবং দুটি উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় রয়েছে। আমাদের কিছু লোক বিদেশে থাকে এবং কাজ করে, অন্যরা ঢাকা এবং অন্যান্য শহরে থাকে। প্রতি সপ্তাহে আমাদের দ্বারা প্রচুর সংখ্যক চিঠি পাঠানো এবং গ্রহণ করা হয়। বাইরে থেকেও মানি অর্ডার পাঠানো হয়। গ্রামে এমন একটি বাজার রয়েছে যেখানে সাব-পোস্ট অফিসের জন্য উপযুক্ত জায়গা খুঁজে পাওয়া কঠিন হবে না।
আমরা খুব আশা করি আপনি আমাদের প্রার্থনা মঞ্জুর করবেন এবং এই গ্রামে একটি সাব-পোস্ট অফিস স্থাপন করবেন।
