Early Marriage.
Answer : Early marriage means a wedding between a young boy and a young girl before they are matured. The girls of the extreme poverty-ridden families in the slums of the towns and cities and of villages are found to be married off before 15. The parents of their families cannot afford to send their girls to schools and cannot provide them with jobs. Thus situations force the parents to get them married. Only poverty plays a key role here. Early marriage badly influence the health of child mother. Being conceived a child mother suffers much from malnutrition and other diseases. As a result, weak baby is born with different complications. Sometimes the baby or the mother surrenders too death. So this practice of early marriage should be stopped. Our government has already imposed ban on marrying a girl before 18 and a boy before 21. This is a positive sign for us. To encourage female education our govt, has already taken some positive steps, such as giving stipends to girls, recruiting more female teachers etc. We need to build up social awareness about female education so that everybody sends their daughters to school and make them educated. If the female are educated they will be self-dependent and an educated mother can give an educated nation.

বঙ্গানুবাদ : বাল্য বিবাহের অর্থ একটি তরুণ ছেলে এবং একটি যুবতী মেয়েদের পরিপক্ক হওয়ার আগে তাদের মধ্যে একটি বিবাহ। শহর ও শহর ও গ্রামগুলির বস্তিগুলিতে চরম দারিদ্র্যপীড়িত পরিবারের মেয়েরা ১৫ বছরের আগেই বিবাহ বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ হয়ে পড়েছে। তাদের পরিবারের বাবা-মা তাদের মেয়েদের স্কুলে পাঠানোর সামর্থ্য রাখে না এবং তাদের চাকরিও দিতে পারে না। এই পরিস্থিতিতে বাবা-মাকে তাদের বিবাহ করতে বাধ্য করে। এখানে শুধুমাত্র দারিদ্র্যই মূল ভূমিকা পালন করে। বাল্য বিবাহ শিশু মায়ের স্বাস্থ্যের উপর খারাপ প্রভাব ফেলে। সন্তানের মা গর্ভধারণ করে অপুষ্টি ও অন্যান্য রোগে অনেক বেশি ভোগেন। ফলস্বরূপ, দুর্বল শিশু বিভিন্ন জটিলতায় জন্মগ্রহণ করে। কখনও কখনও বাচ্চা বা মা খুব মৃত্যুর কাছে আত্মসমর্পণ করে। তাই বাল্যবিবাহের এই রীতি বন্ধ করা উচিত। আমাদের সরকার ইতিমধ্যে ১৮ বছরের আগে একটি মেয়ে এবং 21 বছরের আগে একটি ছেলের সাথে বিবাহ নিষেধাজ্ঞা আরোপ করেছে। এটি আমাদের জন্য একটি ইতিবাচক লক্ষণ। মহিলা শিক্ষাকে উত্সাহিত করার জন্য আমাদের সরকার ইতিমধ্যে কিছু ইতিবাচক পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে যেমন মেয়েদের উপবৃত্তি দেওয়া, আরও বেশি মহিলা শিক্ষক নিয়োগ দেওয়া ইত্যাদি। নারীদের শিক্ষার বিষয়ে আমাদের সামাজিক সচেতনতা গড়ে তুলতে হবে যাতে প্রত্যেকে তাদের মেয়েদের স্কুলে পাঠায় এবং তাদের শিক্ষিত করে তোলেন। মহিলা শিক্ষিত হলে তারা স্বাবলম্বী হবে এবং শিক্ষিত মা শিক্ষিত জাতিকে দিতে পারবেন।
