My visit to A Baishakhi Mela.
Answer : Baishakhi Mela is one of the most popular public functions in Bangladesh. This mela bears a special significance for our culture, art and heritage as well. Recently I went to visit a Baishakhi Mela which was held at Shahapur Darga in Chatmohar under Pabna district. I with my friend Raju went there in the afternoon. I found the mela bustling with life. There were various kinds of shops and stalls decorated with different items such as handicrafts, potteries, delicate woven clothes, toys, needle work and other things. I found many people buying sweets, curd, handmade things and other fashionable things. I bought some handicrafts and ladies dresses. I also bought some toys and flute for my youngers. In one corner of the mela I saw circus, nagor dola, puppet show and jatra. Under a big tree there was a cultural function. It amused me much. Just after evening I returned home.

বঙ্গানুবাদ : বৈশাখী মেলা বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম জনপ্রিয় পাবলিক ফাংশন। এই মেলা আমাদের সংস্কৃতি, শিল্প এবং ঐতিহ্যের জন্যও বিশেষ তাত্পর্য বহন করে। সম্প্রতি আমি পাবনা জেলার আওতাধীন চাটমোহরের শাহাপুর দরগায় অনুষ্ঠিত বৈশাখী মেলা দেখতে গিয়েছিলাম। আমি আমার বন্ধু রাজুর সাথে বিকেলে সেখানে গিয়েছিলাম। আমি মেলা পেয়েছি জীবনের সাথে ঝামেলা করা। হস্তশিল্প, মৃৎশিল্প, সূক্ষ্ম বোনা কাপড়, খেলনা, সূঁচের কাজ এবং অন্যান্য জিনিসগুলির সাথে সজ্জিত বিভিন্ন ধরণের দোকান এবং স্টল ছিল। আমি অনেক লোক মিষ্টি, দই, হাতে তৈরি জিনিস এবং অন্যান্য ফ্যাশনেবল জিনিস কিনেছি। আমি কিছু হস্তশিল্প এবং মহিলা পোশাক কিনেছি। আমি আমার কনিষ্ঠদের জন্য কিছু খেলনা এবং বাঁশিও কিনেছিলাম। মেলার এক কোণে আমি দেখলাম সার্কাস, নাগর দোলা, পুতুল শো এবং যাত্রা। একটি বড় গাছের নীচে একটি সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান ছিল। এটা আমাকে অনেক আনন্দিত করেছে। সন্ধ্যার পরেই বাসায় ফিরলাম।
