Soil Pollution.
Answer : Soil pollution implies the contamination of the soil. Our soil is polluted everyday for several reasons. The most significant cause of soil pollution is the enormous volume of industrial' waste which is not disposed everyday properly. The household wastes, particularly the polythene shopping bags are causing serious threat to soil and the drainage system. Farmers use insecticides and chemical fertilizers and thus the soil gets polluted. Mills and factories use many poisonous chemicals and fuel leakage from automobiles may get washed.away by rain and seep into the nearby soil and thus the soil is polluted. If we all desire to live a healthy and tranquillised life, we should keep our soil free from pollution. Creating consciousness and all round endeavours are necessary for making our soil free from pollution.
