যারে তুমি নিচে ফেল, সে তোমারে বাঁধিছে যে নিচে,
পশ্চাতে রেখেছ যারে, সে তোমারে পশ্চাতে টানিছে।
মূলভাব : কাউকে নিচে ফেলে উপরে ওঠার চেষ্টা অথবা কাউকে পেছনে ফেলে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা কখনই নিষ্কণ্টক হয় না। কারণ, যাকে পেছনে ফেলে, পদদলিত করে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করা হয়, পেছন থেকে সেই টেনে ধরে পিছিয়ে আসতে বাধ্য করে।
সম্প্রসারিত ভাব : জীবনের সার্থক বিকাশ ও পরিপূর্ণ সফলতার জন্য সকলের সাথে সহযোগিতামূলক মনোভাব নিয়ে এগিয়ে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা চালানোই মনুষ্যত্বের পরিচায়ক। কারণ পারস্পরিক বোঝাপড়া, সহযোগিতা ও বিশ্বাসই মানুষের সামগ্রিক উন্নয়নের চাবিকাঠি। এর মধ্যেই সমাজ ও ব্যক্তির কল্যাণ নিহিত। কিন্তু আমাদের সমাজে এমনি কিছু বিচিত্র লোক আছেন যারা অন্যের অনিষ্ট করে নিজের সুখের ঠিকানা গড়তে চায়। উন্নতির স্বর্ণালী সিঁড়িতে আরোহণের স্বপ্নে বিভোর হয়ে এরা অন্যের ক্ষতি করতেও পিছপা হয় না। কিন্তু পরিণামে এরা নিজেরাই ক্ষতির মধ্যে পতিত হয়। তাই কবি বলেন, ---
‘পরের অনিষ্ট চিন্তা করে যেই জন,
নিজের অনিষ্ট বীজ করে সে বপন।'
মূলত মানুষের স্বার্থবুদ্ধি প্রাধান্য পেলে তার পরিণতি শুভ হয় না। অপরকে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করে নিজে লাভবান হওয়ার চেষ্টা মনুষ্যত্বকে প্রশ্নবিদ্ধ করে। কারণ নিজের স্বার্থকে যারা বড় করে দেখে তারা মহৎ নয়; বরং সংকীর্ণমনা, অনুদার। আর এসব অনুদার মানুষের প্রতিটি বিশ্ব মানবতার অকল্যাণ বৈ অন্য কিছু আনয়ন করে না।
মন্তব্য : “To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction"— অর্থাৎ প্রত্যেক ক্রিয়ারই একটি সমান বা বিপরীত প্রতিক্রিয়া রয়েছে। অর্থাৎ অন্যের যেটুকু ক্ষতি করা হয় তার সমপরিমাণ ক্ষতি নিজেরও হয়ে যায়। তাই অন্যের ক্ষতি করার চিন্তার পরিবর্তে পরোপকারে আত্মনিয়োগ করাই উত্তম।
English Translate :
Whoever you throw down, he is tied to you that down,
whoever you leave behind, he pulls you behind.
Theme : Trying to get someone down and trying to get up or leaving someone behind is never tireless. Because, whoever is left behind, is tried to move forward by trampling, he is forced to pull back from behind.
Expanded Thoughts : Trying to move forward with a cooperative attitude with all for the successful development and full success of life is the hallmark of humanity. Because mutual understanding, cooperation and trust are the key to the overall development of the people. In this lies the welfare of society and individual. But there are some strange people in our society who want to make their own happy address by harming others. They do not hesitate to harm others by dreaming of climbing the golden ladder of progress. But in the end, they themselves fall into loss. So the poet says, ---
‘Anyone who thinks of the next evil,
He sows his own evil seed. '
Basically, when the interests of the people prevail, the consequences are not good. Trying to benefit oneself by harming others calls into question humanity. For those who magnify their own interests are not great; Rather narrow-minded, intolerant. And every world of these benevolent people brings nothing but misery to humanity.
