মানুষ যেদিন পরের জন্য কাঁদতে শেখে, সেদিন তার দেবত্ব লাভ হয়।
মূলভাব : পরোপকারের মধ্যেই মানব জীবনের প্রকৃত সার্থকতা নিহিত। পরের কল্যাণে নিজেকে উৎসর্গ করার মধ্যে দিয়েই প্রকৃত দেবত্ব লাভ করা সম্ভব।
ভাব-সম্প্রসারণ : কর্মময় এ পৃথিবী। এ পৃথিবীর প্রতিটি অণুকণায় মিশে আছে কতইনা হাসি-কান্না, মান-অভিমান ও আনন্দ-বেদনা। কিন্তু এসব কিছু যদি নিজের জন্য না হয়ে অপরের জন্য হয় তাহলে তা স্বীকৃতি পায় মহৎ কর্ম হিসেবে। সৃষ্টির সেরা জীব হিসেবে মানুষ অন্য সকল প্রাণীর চেয়ে আলাদা। তবে ভোগাকাঙ্ক্ষা, ক্ষমতালিপ্সা ও স্বার্থরক্ষার ব্যাপারে মানুষ কখনও লোভী, আত্মকেন্দ্রীক, ক্ষুদ্রচেতা ও পশুর ন্যায় হিংস্র হয়ে ওঠে। তখন তারা হীন স্বার্থ চরিতার্থ করার জন্য যে কোন ধরনের কাজ করতে পারে। জনকল্যাণ তথা মানবতার মুক্তির গান তাদের কর্ণকুহরে প্রবেশ করে না। কিন্তু জীবনের প্রকৃত উদ্দেশ্য তা নয়। মানবতাবোধে উদ্বুদ্ধ হয়ে অপরের কল্যাণে নিজেকে নিয়োজিত করার মধ্যেই মনুষ্যত্বের প্রকৃত স্বরূপ প্রকাশ পায়। পরহিত ব্রতে উৎসর্গকৃত জীবনের সার্থক প্রতিনিধি ফুল, নদী, ইত্যাদি। এরা কখনো নিজেদের প্রয়োজনে আসে না। মহানবী হযরত মুহাম্মদ (স) সহ সকল মহামানবেরাও যুগে যুগে নিজেদের জীবন, সাধনা, শক্তি ও সময় পরের কল্যাণে বৃক্ষ, গাভী ব্যয় করেছেন। তাঁদের চিন্তা চেতনা, শুভ কামনা, আবিষ্কার, অনুসন্ধিৎসু মনের উপলব্ধি সবই অপরের জন্য রেখে গেছেন। তাই নিজের জন্য ব্যাকুল না হয়ে বিশ্ব মানবের কল্যাণের জন্য হতে হবে নিবেদিত প্রাণ। আর যে দিন তা করা যাবে সেদিনই সৃষ্টিকর্তার সান্নিধ্যে আসা যাবে এবং পাওয়া যাবে স্বর্গীয় ছোঁয়া।
মন্তব্য : পরের দুঃখ কষ্ট যখন মানুষ হৃদয় দিয়ে অনুভব করতে শেখে এবং সে দুঃখ কষ্ট নিজের বলে বোধ করে তখনই সে দেবমানবে মর্যাদা লাভ করে।
The day man learns to weep for the next, the day he attains divinity.
Motto : In altruism lies the true meaning of human life. True divinity can be attained only by devoting oneself to the welfare of the next.
Bhav-expansion : The world is active. Every particle of this world is mixed with laughter and tears, dignity and pride and joy and pain. But if these things are done for others and not for oneself, then it is recognized as noble action. As the best creature in creation, man is different from all other creatures. However, people sometimes become greedy, self-centered, small-minded and violent like animals in terms of greed, lack of power and self-interest. Then they can do any kind of work to fulfill their nefarious interests. The song of public welfare and liberation of humanity does not enter their ears. But that is not the real purpose of life. The true nature of humanity is revealed in devoting oneself to the welfare of others, inspired by the sense of humanity. Flowers, rivers, etc., are meaningful representatives of life devoted to sacred vows. They never come for their own needs. All great human beings including Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) have spent their lives, efforts, energy and time for the welfare of the future, trees and cows. They left their thoughts, good wishes, discoveries, inquisitive minds to others. So instead of worrying about yourself, you should be devoted to the welfare of the world. And on the day it can be done, one can come near the Creator and get the heavenly touch.
Comment : When a person learns to feel the next suffering with his heart and feels that suffering as his own, then he attains the status of godman.
